MISFORTUNE BITES GRAHAM AND FORCES HIM TO RETIRE FROM ROMANIACS 2021

FIM WORLD HARD ENDURO CHAMPIONSHIP, ROUND 4

6-time Red Bull Romaniacs winner Graham Jarvis came to Sibiu for a search of 7th title. Rockstar Husky rider started his racing week with a P6 at the Tuesday’s Time Trial Qualifications.

He then took on the first real challenge of the week at Offroad Day 1 and brought the win home for the day. The Silent Assassin completed the day in 4h51m7s and put a clearance of 3m29s against his closest rival and defending champion Manuel Lettenbichler. He also took the over all lead.

On the Offroad Day 2 he choose to the open the stage and opened the track for the rest. He was quickly got cought  by Letti and the two rode most of the day together. 40m away from the days finish he twisted his knee at speed crossing a drainage ditch. 46 years old legend had to pull out from a bright racing week of his favorite challenge. We all hope that he recovers fast from his injury and comes back stronger.

In the end of the day defending champion of both WESS and Red Bull Romaniacs Manuel Lettenbichler came in the fastest. Offroad Day 2 was a demanding challenge and KTM Factory rider completed it in 5h5m42s. By this and Graham’s retirement Letti now sits in a comfortable over all lead. He stretched a 23m33s lead against his closest rival and 2018 champion Wade Young.

Mario Roman on the other hand had a brilliant pace which let him claim the P2 for the day. Spaniard completed the race in 5h18m41 and now sits in P3 on the overall.

Rockstar Husky rider Billy Bolt completed the days top 3 by coming in 5h19m53s and now sits P4 on the overall.
