After missing the Canyon sector in 2017 we were really excited to have it back last year but it was a real short version of it and no one could get a real taste of it. Sea to Sky 2019 on the other hand is a real different story. Thanks to the organisation we had all the bridges and passes through the Canyon and so we have it all this year.
Day started in the half way of the Canyon and went all the way up for a 35km single track. The fastest rider covered it in 01:30:14,24.
Mario Roman was the man of the day and finished it on top with nearly 2,5 minutes clear from Graham Jarvis who finished P2 for the day. Beach Race and Forest Race winner Wade Young came short due to a brake disk problem and completed his day with P3.
Fans were great and enjoyed it a lot and we are expecting more to join us Tomorrow.
Day 4 will start from the beach and will continue 53km all the way up to Mount Olympus (Lycian).
